話したい相手が不在で、電話したことだけを伝えてほしい場合は、
「Please tell him / her (that) I called.」。
もっと丁寧に言いたいなら「Can / Will you please tel him / her that I called?」や「Could / Would you please tell him / her that I called?」
カジュアルに言うなら「Just tell him / her that I called.（話したいことを伝えといて。）」
